Build a Team That Understands Halal Readiness at Every Level: Step by Step, Role by Role
Build the Halal knowledge, systems, and role-specific capability your team needs to support readiness across your entire operation. Through HDC’s four structured Halal Training programmes, you can prepare operations staff, strengthen your Internal Halal Committee, appoint a capable Halal Executive, and develop internal audit capability, so every role understands what to do and how to support ongoing compliance.

Built for Every Role That Protects Halal Readiness Inside Your Business
Build stronger Halal compliance across your business by giving service staff, Internal Halal Committee members, Halal Executives, and internal auditors the role-specific knowledge they need to support Malaysia Halal Certification requirements every day.
Give Every Role the Halal Capability It Needs
Each of the four programmes below targets a specific role inside your business, giving your team the exact halal knowledge and capability needed to support certification and maintain daily compliance.
01 Halal Industry Fundamentals – 1 Day
Your team gains a clear, foundational understanding of Halal principles, Halal and Haram, and Malaysia’s Halal certification, the basics every staff member needs to do their job correctly.
This is the entry-level programme and a foundational step for any organization pursuing Halal certification. By the end, your team will understand basic Halal and haram principles, the importance of correct raw material sourcing, and the criteria for Malaysia Halal Certification.
What’s covered
02 Halal Competency – 2 Days
Your committee members gain the deeper understanding they need to move beyond awareness and apply certification requirements across your operations.
The programme goes beyond awareness with hands-on exercises for processing or service areas. Your committee members will understand prerequisites for Malaysia Halal Certification (Malaysia’s official Halal certification pathway guided by JAKIM requirements, documentation, systems, and compliance practices), legal responsibilities, and the origins of Halal ingredients, so they can do their role with confidence.
What’s covered
03 Certified Halal Executive Programme – 8 Days
Your Halal Executive becomes fully qualified to manage halal compliance in daily operations, handling certification processes, quality assurance, and internal audits at a professional level.
This is a professional, management-level programme that prepares one person to lead Halal compliance for your entire company. Required for medium and large companies under JAKIM. Delivered through lectures, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises, your Halal Executive leaves prepared to apply the role in practice, not just understand it in theory.
What’s covered
04 Certified Halal Internal Audit Programme – 9 Days
Your internal auditors become prepared to run the entire audit cycle, from planning and tools to on-site execution, reporting, and follow-up, in line with JAKIM’s expectations.
This is the most specialized programme. Covers the full internal audit cycle: pre-audit meetings, audit tools, documentation audits, on-site audits, audit findings, closing meetings, and follow-up. Includes individual and group assessments on real audit work, checklists, audit plans, opening and closing meetings, and non-conformance reports.

From Halal Awareness to Company-Wide Readiness
Start building the Halal capability your team needs from wherever your business stands today. Through HDC’s four Halal Training programmes, you can choose the course that matches your immediate need, whether that is building awareness, preparing your Internal Halal Committee, appointing a Halal Executive, or strengthening internal audit capability, and continue developing your team as its responsibilities grow, without having to take every programme or follow a fixed order.
Halal Training for Real Workplace Action
Across the four programmes, your team builds four broad types of capability. Each programme adds something specific to what your business can do. Here is what your people will actually be able to do after the training.
