HaNa at MIHF 2025: Lead-Gen Plus On-Ground Event Navigation at HDC Booth

In collaboration with the Halal Development Corporation (HDC), GoHalal.net activated HaNa at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC), where it combined lead generation with a new on-ground navigation feature. Beyond capturing enquiries and qualifying prospects, HaNa guided visitors around the festival from the HDC booth, turning visitors’ needs into precise directions.

Throughout the four-day event, attendees told HaNa what they were looking for (even without knowing booth names or numbers), and HaNa responded with a list of relevant booths and vendors, including locations and booth numbers. Afterwards, HaNa printed the event booth map and a search receipt listing all vendors the visitor had looked up, complete with locations and details, so that guests could navigate the halls more easily for the rest of the day.

In parallel, HaNa continued to function as a dedicated lead-generation tool: the team logged enquiries in real time, onboarded interested companies to HaNa, and tracked successful meetups to streamline post-event follow-ups with partners.

Engagement & Incentives

  • Daily competition: Each day, three random winners per platform were selected from entries on WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok that tagged the organisers. 36 winners across four days, each receiving a RM50 Touch ’n Go voucher.
  • Visitor goodie bags: Free goodie bags were offered to visitors who stopped by the HDC booth and chatted with HaNa.  

Event Highlights

  • HDC-led activation at MITC: HaNa captured opportunities and onboarded companies to HaNa for structured follow-up.
  • On-ground navigation: Natural-language queries (e.g., “I want to buy Halal gelatin”) returned relevant booth lists with locations and numbers; HaNa printed maps and search receipts to support further navigation follow-up.
  • Lead-gen performance: Enquiries were logged, needs were qualified, and successful meetings were tracked to accelerate partner engagement.
